September202010 Complya Hires Bill Traynham, Director of Operations

We are pleased to announce that Bill Traynham has joined Complya as Director of Operations. Bill's background includes over 15 years in the Biopharmaceutical industry, including QA positions at DuPont Pharmaceuticals/BMS, Wyeth (as a corporate compliance auditor), Oscient Pharmaceuticals, and most recently as Director of Quality Assurance at Concert Pharmaceuticals. Bill's industry experience, familiarity with regulatory agencies, and depth of knowledge in the GxP and Regulatory Affairs areas match perfectly with Complya's core GxP and Regulatory consulting services in these disciplines. Bill joins Complya at an exciting phase in Complya’s growth, as we are well into our fourth year with a fantastic group of clients in the greater Boston area and over a dozen consultants in the field.

June032009 Complya Nominated for Excellence in Business Award

Complya was honored to be nominated for "New Member of the Year" as part of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce's 2009 Excellence in Business Awards. From the Chamber of Commerce: "The Cambridge Chamber of Commerce recognizes the outstanding achievements of Cambridge-area businesses with the annual Excellence in Business Awards. Six awards are presented to exemplary companies, organizations or individuals who, over the past year, have made an impact on the Chamber of Commerce, the City of Cambridge and their industry."

The Chamber presented the 2009 Excellence in Business Awards on June 3. Complya congratulates "New Member of the Year" winner, Move Smart Senior Move Management Services. The company, headquartered in Malden, MA, provides comprehensive move management services for the senior community and their families. Move Smart founder, Terry Cappuccio, has been involved for four years with fundraisers for a day care facility for homeless children in Cambridge.

March32009 Complya Chairs QA Panel Discussion

Jonathan Morse, Principal Consultant, moderated a Quality Assurance panel discussion at IBC's Outsourcing of Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing Conference in Carlsbad, California. The session focused on QA oversight of contract manufacturers.
